I hinted at this before, but we’re making a formal announcement: I am teaming up with the phenomenal Lisa Vasquez, author of The Unsaintly, to bring you a paranormal serial in 2015. You won’t have ever read anything at all like it. If you‘ve read mine and Lisa’s work this is a fairly natural conclusion to two bodies of work, by two complete strangers, who seem to have taken the same items of inspiration and went in totally different directions: Lisa with The Unsaintly, and me with Hounds of the Lord. You don’t often stumble across people who know you instantly, and Lisa and I took one look at each other’s work and were floored. How can two people, who have never heard of each other, never heard of each other’s work, take all the same inspirational items and write two bodies of work which are so the same and yet so completely polar opposite? There is only one word for that sort of serendipity: fate. We’re really excited about this collaboration while we are both also still bringing you our own individual work. You’ve already had a bird’s eye view of my working on Domus and Lisa is taking the prologue of The Unsaintly and building an entire world, the likes of which, trust me, you have never seen before. 2015 will be a big year for this team, keep an eye on us!
